Maria Sharapova tested positive for a drug test she took for the Australian Open. She had come out to openly admit this. Tennis Rival Serena Williams said of opponent Maria Sharapova that she "showed a lot of courage" in taking responsibility. Sharapova said she tested positive for the little-known drug meldonium which she has been using for the past 10 years due to medical issues and was prescribed that by her family doctor.
