Man United Legends 4-2 Bayern Munich Legends: Dwight Yorke scores as Red Devils beat old rivals United's golden oldies got one over on their German counterparts during a charity match at Old Trafford on Sunday Manchester United and Bayern Munich's legends rolled back the years in a thrilling contest at Old Trafford on Sunday. The likes of Jaap Stam, Paul Scholes and German World Cup winner Paul Breitner were all on show as the European giants renewed rivalries in aid of charity. Louis Saha gave United an early lead, only for his effort to be cancelled out by Alexander Zickler, who latched on to Scholes' poor backpass to round Edwin Van der Sar and score. French forward Saha was forced off after picking up a knock, but United got their noses back in front when Dwight Yorke bundled the ball in after J-Sung Park's header was saved. Michael Tarnet's free-kick squared things up again, only for Andy Cole to restore the Red Devils' lead before the break. Dion Dublin and Karel Poborksy entered the fray in the second half, and the Czezh played a part in United's final goal seven minutes from time.
