This is a sample application that shows hot to implement a WebView inside a Fragment, A Splashscreen using a Fragment, an AlarmManager to set a daily Notification reminder. As part of my employers 10k steps a day program I need to log in my daily steps every day. This app is a quick way to remind me to update my information every day. This tutorial has: 1) Webview with hard coded website and default zoom level of 50% 2) AlarmManager to sets a daily alarm at midnight 3) Notification triggered by the AlarmManager every day displaying a reminder and launching the app 4) Spash Screen per request.
